  2. Da Squaaad (Shakira Spears and D-Rogue w/Hip Hop Harry) defeated the wildcard team of Sandra Moon and Ultra Girl Brittney Wonder
  • post match, Buggy Nova attacked Da Squaaad for beating her child Chucky up at the last event.  The three outnumbered the single mother and babe until Nurse Ratchet came to assist her co baby momma, seemingly finally ready to embrace her role in traditional family values.  However, they were interrupted by Vipress.  The daughter of the devil and herald of the evil Tia Mot wished to enact revenge and retribution on the undead medical professional.  She verbally berated Ratchet for surgically stealing her powers at the last GLAM event – powers gifted to her by the mysterious Tia Mott from the other side of the sun and moon door.  After Vipress attacked Nurse Ratchet, Buggy Nova stepped in to defend her gal friday.

3. Buggy Nova defeated Vipress

– Heather Monroe then greeted the audience via video of her at a pool.  She was less than gracious to GLAM on her night of celebration, refusing even to attend.  She did stop to remind us that as holder of the Sun and Moon key – and the one who shoved Lady K through the door and into oblivion – she is the one true champion of GLAM.

– Anton Voorhees and Kathy Campanelli then introduced the crowd to the new and vacant GLAMpionship Title!  It’s purrty..

4. Plus Sized Model Thicc Martel defeated Fidel Bravo

5. Showgirl Calamity Kate defeated Nurse Ratchet

– Kate was able to pin Ratchet after interference from Da Squaaad, who then put a beat down on the zombie nurse for attacking them earlier. Buggy Nova would emerge – dressed as a nurse herself! – and fight off the surprised Squaaa with her bae, delivering a double choke slam to D-Rogue.  The two would then finally embrace each other – in their hearts and in the flesh – and it was the most touching pda moment involving a single mother of a demon child winning the love of the zombie nurse she beat up 7 months ago in all of wrestling so far.

results: Morning Glow 8/9/19 GLAM

Oh what a night. GLAM – Morning Glow was one for the history books in more ways than one.

The show opened with Oinga Boinga doing what they do best followed by them bringing out The LINK to the Future Anton Voorhees and the return of Kathy Campanelli. Kathy and Anton seemed to not be exactly seeing eye to eye which almost resulted in Kathy walking off the show. However in some quick apologetic thinking Anton convinced her to “turn around” and come back by going into a duet of “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” Fun times.

Match 1! The Villainess Vipress vs Nurse Ratchet.
Neither of these women had ever faced a foe like the other. Vipress was using all of her supernatural abilities given to her by Tia Mott against the undead medical professional but Ratchet had plenty of tricks up her decayed sleeve. The match ended when Ratchet stuck a syringe into the neck of Vipress and sucked out the dark magic leaving her powerless. Ratchet hit the Pricess Die for the win.

Buggy Nova then came out with her and Nurse Ratchet’s child, Charles Montgomery (Chucky) Nova, to try and convince Ratchet to be a part of this (Addams) family… and to imply that if she doesn’t she kinda owes a bit of child support. Nurse Ratchet looked at them both (longingly?) But ultimately left. This brought out Da Squaaad (Hip Hop Harry and Shakira Spears) to seemingly pick the bones but Buggy doesnt go down without a fight.

The battle went back and forth but ultimately Harry was able to distract Buggy by threatening Chucky which enabled Shakira to hit the Fear the Spear for the victory.

Match 3! Ultragirl Brittany Wonder vs the Great Bambina. Bambina made her wrestling debut in February here at GLAM against Brittany in a hard fought, but ultimately losing effort but on this night she was able to secure her first victory!

Oinga Boinga played a few hits and Kathy Campanelli came out to say she couldn’t find Anton and then out came…. Anton?? No… it was Joseph Schwartz of the Bomb Shelter with a triangle painted on his face. He tried to convince Kathy and the crowd that he was Anton and this was his show and everything was normal and brings out “DARK Sheik” who was actually Randi West in a sash. Then there came a pounding on the Sun/Moon Door and out come The CAUTION through the door! Apparently the time and space hopping Bomb Shelter sent The CAUTION into another dimension in an attempt to take over GLAM but didnt realize that we just so happened to have a door to another dimension here at GLAM.

Schwartz and West had the upper hand with their ability to rewind time, but ultimately Sheik and Anton were able to secure the win after hitting the Farooq Assault.

Match 5! Lady K vs Heather Monroe for the Sun/Moon Keys.
Both of these women gave everything they had in this match. Lady K fighting for her destiny to see the other side of the Sun/Moon Door, and Heather battling to prove she is the pinnacle of excellence here at GLAM. Lady K attempted multiple times to just grab the Keys to use the door but was finally stopped by Anton who told her she must win the match to have the keys. Lady K then took the microphone and locked Heather in an STF and yelled at her to quit and give over the keys… but Heather shouted the that door was unlocked! Lady K then realized she didnt need the keys and went to the door and opened it, finally seeing the other side for the first time. However, Heather Monroe shoved her through and used the keys to lock the door, trapping Lady K on the other side. She then got back in the ring and won by count out.

So… unless Heather unlocks the door or we get a new holder of the keys Lady K is stuck on the other side of the door… which is where she wanted to be this whole time… What a crazy turn of events.

Its about to get nuts in Oakland.  The beginning of our year of “x”s begins, as Battle Royal X is the first of our year of ten year celebrations!  October FTF X, December HoodFighter Tournament X and of course…the baby daddy of them all, the showcase of the immorals… 2020’s Entertania X!  Whoa yall, remember when we were the new kids on the block?

The week after BR-X is GLAM Morning Glow!  The only showcase for womens wrestling in the bay area… no California…NO, just west of the Mississipi!  It’s really like that yall…Come feel the Glow!

3. Drugz Bunny defeated WonderCat Joey Smoak

– post match, Da Squaaad attempted to attack Drugz Bunny, but Pooh Jack evened the odds.  Da Sqauaaad challenged Pooh Jack to a singles match at Aug 2nd BRX First Friday event, which Mr Jack accepted.

4. Richard Shhhnary and Matt Carlos defeated Funnybone and FunnyBOONE (Boone Ashlocke in FunnyBone paint).  Had Shhhnary been pinned, he would have lost the Best Athlete in the East Bay Golden Fannypacks, but he wasn’t, so like whatever i guess, not sure why i brought it up

5. Sensei Joey Nuggs defended the Golden Gig against Super Beast and El Chupacabra in a Triple Threat Match.  It was originally a singles defense v Super Beast, but El Chupacabra cashed in his memorial Trophy, however after interference from HBKen Sensei Nuggs was able to pin the “Mexican Werewolf” and remain the man who holds the Golden Gig.

6. Big B and his mystery partner Bart Man defeated BatManuel and his mystery partner Juice Lee in a dream partner tag match
