Juice Lee would kick off Hoodslam by being undefeated and murdering many. His heart rips and eye thefts were the stuff of legend. He won 4 matches in a single night to become the first ever HoodFighter Tournament winner and defend Hoodslam from the CAPCOM invaders. However, when one of his earlier victims returned to life as the undead Zombie Vinny Butabi, things changed for him. He showed fear for the first time.
This may have lead to his first instance of hesitation, when he stalled at ripping the heart of Lucha Magnifico. He would not kill again for some time until finally facing his fears. The Zombie bit him, but his will fought on. The Zombie broke his jaw, but his message persisted through clenched teeth. He would end the zombie curse upon Hoodslam that he himself had started.
DARK Sheik would take this moment to have Juice Lee arrested for murder, and at the first Trial of Hoodslam he was deemed guilty and exiled, killing the judge as a send off. When Mayor Flaco Loco was instated, his first decree was to bring back this hero of Oakland. He would soon win the Golden GiG, as part of an odd paring with his enemy DARK Sheik. He would end this feud and continue his reign solo at the main event of the first Entertania.
Slowly, the Golden GiG seemed to turn Juice Lee, as it had done been rumored to do to others before him. His longevity as champion may have made the change even more corrosive. Eventually, he would be blindsided by James C and lose the championship. Oddly, they would become a tag team not long after.
The duo would cause carnage for many years, until Enterania VII. Even after legitimately breaking his leg in two places during the match, he still got in the ring and continued to compete. However, he would not be seen again for a whole year.
…where upon returning he won the Lethal Lottery Tournament – was thus awarded the prize to fight in any match, against any one, at anytime – and used his prize that same night to become Golden GiG champion. He and James would trade the honored prize, until finally Juice Lee found himself back in a familiar place: reluctantly teaming with DARK Sheik.
Through bizarre circumstances, the two would become Intergalactic Tag Team Champions. They would defend it only if forced, as they were not a cohesive unit, in spite of Juice Lee’s honest attempts. The two would lose the titles and set up for a match, though delayed by a pandemic, that finally happened at Entertania X. DARK Sheik (who had performed regularly during the pandemic), finally defeated Juice Lee (who hand’t competed in over a year).
Juice would regain a measure of revenge when he and Brittany Wonder would defeat DARK Sheik and Nicole Savoy in tag action later, and even more recently has begun competing successfully alongside Mexican Werewolf El Chupacabra.
His vow of silence has never been explained – cuz who would tell us? – but his actions have told the fans all they need to know.
